This is our
love story
Our story has taken us from sunny Barcelona to freezing Rovaniemi and everything in between.
Our story is one of those unlikely ones. A moment in time that for a million different reasons could have simply not happened. However from the seed of that one unlikely moment grew out a beautiful love story, full of little adventures, wonderful times, amazing people and of course millions of chapters of unconditional love.
Two continents
one story
We were brought together by the most unlikely coincidences, serendipity, that we crafted into our journey together.
When he first saw her
Summer 2018.
The moment we first saw each other was when Anders saw Alexa across a crowded room, beautiful eyes staring directly at him, calling his name. Just at that moment another guy passed him waving at the group where Alexa was. Delighted by the coincidence and enchanted by the beautiful eyes Anders decided to head to that group and introduce himself. A coincidence that would change the course of two lives. And over the summer they became great friends.
The love story blooms
Winter 2019.
However it wasn't until half a year later that another coincidence would bring them together again to study in Barcelona. However this time something was different and as it happened love sparked instantly. From there they ended up living together in Barcelona, travelling to France, Croatia and Italy. Exploring the arctic Rovaniemi and living both in Copenhagen and Tallinn as well as relaxing in tropical Tulum, until finally settling in Mexico City.
When she said "I do"
Summer 2024.
Almost exactly 6 years after first seeing each other Anders had decided it was time to give the ring. He planned a beautiful getaway to Belize to go diving - a plan that was completely destroyed by a level 5 hurricane - however our love if not else, has always been persistent and as faith would have it they found an amazing cave diving tour in Tulum. And finally at a cavern, under the rays of sunshine that pierced the ceiling of stalactites he took her hands and asked her to make their love story eternal.
She said "yes"...
